What can you get from the Canton Fair?

Find product – you can prepare your product specification and show to supplier on the spot to get their input.

Meet factory representative physically – the most cost-effective way to meet with your suppliers physically as Canton Fair is the largest trade fair in China and I believe most of your suppliers have their booth there.

How to get your badge in 2 steps!

1.Pre-register online at: https://www.cantonfair.org.cn/en-US/register/index#/

[Benefit] You can go to Express Channel after online registration. 2.Get your physical badge at the entrance of Canton Fair exhibition hall or at the hotels.

Which phase shall you go?

Note: Usually on the last day of each phase, most of the booths are startling to dissemble, so we don’t advice to go on the last day.

What should you bring to Canton Fair?

A pair of comfort shoes –  This is so important that you can easily walk up to 20K steps a day. Below is a screenshot of my last experience and I just able to visit 10 halls per day:

Map -  If you have a specific product goal and target, I strongly advise you to plan with a map before going to Canton Fair 2023. You may get the map as below.

A way to make note – you probably will talk to a lot of suppliers and it’s so important to make a note with their business card. Below are the handful ways of taking note:

Take picture of the product and business card Always politely ask the supplier if you can take picture of their products as some of them not allow you to do so for their new product.

Take picture of the business card and booth number Believe me, you won’t remember the booth after many walks and talks, so take picture of the booth and business card if you’re interested in the supplier can help you to revisit them.

Clip your business card in the notebook and make note I always use the old school way to take note of my conversation and clip the business card on my diary book, I still find this is the most effective and simple way!

Install WeChat   All suppliers use WeChat and most of them use WeChat Commercial Version as the major tool for business, so if it’s allowed, installing WeChat, add the supplier in the Canton Fair 2023 as friend, you can easily get their new product updates through WeChat Friend Circle and make your first step connection.
